Bart, a passionate home baker, made his first burnt cheesecake in 2017, a success that led to years of experimentation. His daughter Charlie enthusiastically helped out more and more, which grew into a shared passion and ultimately led to the name Madame Charlie.
In their Amsterdam bakery, they lovingly prepare traditional Basque pastries, sometimes with their own twist. They use high-quality, organic ingredients wherever possible and make everything themselves—from fillings to jams.
