Inspired by a friendship with Café Binnenvisser, Bakkerij Louf opened its first location next to the café in 2022.
In addition to bringing fresh bread and good coffee into its guests’ daily routines, Bakkerij Louf aims to have a positive impact on the neighborhood. What began as a simple idea grew into a place built on care, craftsmanship, and community.

Bakery Traditional sourdough craftsmanship is at the heart of Bakkerij Louf. Using artisanal methods, the bakery creates bread and pastries with character: from hearty loaves and crispy baguettes to buttery croissants. Every day, the team of artisans shapes the sourdough bread by hand and lets it rise for 18 to 20 hours to develop its distinctive, deep flavors.
While the bakers keep an eye on the ovens, the baristas are ready to brew coffee for a great start to the day. Using a selection of specialty coffee beans, they serve coffee—naturally accompanied by a typical Dutch chat about the weather.
