Chef Centraal

Chef Centraal is Amsterdam’s foodservice wholesaler specializing in products with a compelling story. From our warehouse in the Houthavens, we use electric buses to deliver the finest, most sustainable, and most locally sourced products to over 400 foodservice customers in the Randstad.

We launched in 2019, weathered the pandemic, and have been growing rapidly ever since. Over the years, we’ve become the leading supplier to coffee bars. Our product range, service, and network are a perfect fit for these gathering spots that make the city so enjoyable.

In June, we’ll be moving to our new dream location in the Houthavens, and it’s time for even more adventure. In addition to a larger warehouse and a nice office, we’re also opening our own Chef Centraal coffee bar. This will be the beating heart of our company: a place where colleagues can take a break, where we welcome hospitality clients to sample our products, and a go-to spot for the neighborhood for a good cup of coffee or a tasty sandwich.

For our new coffee bar, we’re looking for an enterprising barista who can whip up amazing drinks and snacks, connects easily with people, and makes sure every guest feels welcome right away. You’ll help us run the bar and contribute creative ideas about the concept, menu, and overall experience.

 

This is you

You’re a natural at connecting with people and enjoy meeting new folks. You have at least two years of experience as a barista and know what it takes to run a bar. You have a genuine passion for food, enjoy cooking, and contribute ideas to the menu. And when it comes to local and sustainable food? You’re just as enthusiastic about it as we are.
