Dik & Schil was founded by two young entrepreneurs with a background in psychology and a shared passion for the hospitality industry. From a clear vision, they are committed to a circular production chain, in which residual products are no longer seen as waste, but rather as valuable raw materials. Their motivation stems from the observation that about 30% of our food and drink goes unused, while it is often still full of nutrients and flavor. To change this, they began collecting coffee grounds and orange peels on their own. What began as a project during the Entrepreneurship Minor at the University of Amsterdam grew into an innovative company focused on creating new, flavorful beverages and other applications from waste streams. With ambition and creativity, they are working towards a sustainable future and are on the eve of further growth.
